  • 1 teaspoon honey or sweetener optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice optional

Equipment

  • Kettle or pot for heating water
  • Teacup or mug (8 to 12 ounces)

  • Spoon for stirring
  • Thermometer (optional)

Method

  1. Pour 8 to 10 ounces filtered water into a kettle and bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Place dried red raspberry leaves in a tea infuser or directly in your teacup.
  3. Allow boiled water to cool for 30 seconds to 1 minute until about 200 to 210°F.
  4. Slowly pour the hot water over the leaves, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  5. Cover the cup with a lid or saucer to trap heat and steam.
  6. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes, adjusting the time for desired strength.
  7. Remove the infuser or strain the tea through a fine-mesh strainer into a clean cup.
  8. Taste the tea and add honey or lemon juice if desired.
  9. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy mindfully.

Notes

For iced tea, steep 1/4 cup dried raspberry leaves in 4 cups water for 10 to 15 minutes, strain, chill, and serve over ice for up to 5 days refrigerated.
