Method
- Rinse the blood oranges under cool running water and pat dry.
- Cut each blood orange in half from top to bottom using a sharp knife.
- Place the juicer over a bowl or measuring cup according to manufacturer instructions.
- For each orange half, press and twist it on the juicer to extract the juice.
- Continue juicing all halves until you have about 1 to 1.5 cups of juice.
- Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer into a serving container if you prefer pulp-free juice.
- Divide the juice into glasses, add ice if desired, and stir gently.
- Taste the juice and adjust by adding water for a lighter flavor if needed.
Notes
Store fresh juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
