Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 bottle of dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 cup of apple juice or cider
  • 1/2 cup of brandy
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 apple cored and diced
  • 1/2 cup of pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups of club soda or lemon-lime soda

Method
 

  1. Assemble all ingredients on the counter.
  2. Wash and slice the orange, core and dice the apple, and prepare the pomegranate seeds.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple juice, and brandy.
  4. Add the sliced orange, diced apple, and pomegranate seeds to the pitcher.
  5. Drop in the cinnamon stick.
  6. Chill the sangria in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Just before serving, stir in the club soda or lemon-lime soda.
  8. Pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice, making sure to include fruit pieces.

Notes

For the best flavor, let your sangria sit overnight—this allows the fruits to infuse even more deliciousness into the wine.
