Ingredients

Main
  • 1/2 cup about 85 grams white gummy bears
  • 4 ounces 120 milliliters vodka
  • 4 ounces 120 milliliters pineapple juice
  • 2 ounces 60 milliliters coconut rum (optional)
  • 3 ounces 90 milliliters white cranberry juice
  • 1 ounce 30 milliliters simple syrup
  • 0.5 ounces 15 milliliters fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes enough to fill two glasses
  • Pineapple wedges or lemon wheels for garnish

Equipment

  • Highball or cocktail glasses
  • Measuring cups or jigger
  • Bar spoon or long cocktail stirrer
  • Cocktail shaker (optional)
  • Knife for garnish prep
  • Strainer (if using a shaker)

Method

  1. Fill two highball glasses with ice cubes, packing them in firmly.
  2. Divide the white gummy bears evenly between both glasses, dropping them onto the ice.
  3. Add 2 ounces of vodka to each glass, pouring slowly over the gummy bears and ice.
  4. Pour 2 ounces of pineapple juice into each glass.
  5. If using, add 1 ounce of coconut rum to each glass and stir gently to combine.
  6. Add 1.5 ounces of white cranberry juice to each glass.
  7. Pour 0.5 ounces of simple syrup and 0.25 ounces of fresh lemon juice into each glass and stir thoroughly.
  8. Stir each drink with a bar spoon for about 10 seconds to chill and combine ingredients.
  9. Garnish each glass with a pineapple wedge or lemon wheel and serve immediately with a straw and bar spoon.

Notes

For best flavor, let the gummy bears soak in the liquid for at least 10 minutes before serving so they become infused and more flavorful.
