Ingredients

Main
  • 4 cups of diced watermelon seedless
  • 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice about 3-4 limes
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or agave syrup optional
  • 1/4 cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup of cold water optional for dilution

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
  • Measuring cups
  • Pitcher or large jar
  • Serving glasses

Method

  1. Start by cutting your watermelon into small cubes. Removing the rind makes it easier for blending and ensures a smooth texture.
  2. Squeeze the limes to extract about half a cup of juice.
  3. In your blender, combine the diced watermelon, lime juice, honey (if using), and fresh mint leaves. Blend until completely smooth.
  4. Using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth, strain the blended juice into a pitcher.
  5. If the juice is too thick, add cold water until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Refrigerate the juice for about 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Pour the chilled juice into serving glasses filled with ice.
  8. Garnish with additional mint leaves or a slice of lime on the rim of the glass.
