Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 cups of diced fresh watermelon
  • 1/2 cup of white rum
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons of simple syrup
  • 1-2 cups of ice cubes

  • Jigger or shot glass
  • Strainer (optional)
  • Serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Cut the watermelon into 1-inch chunks for easier blending.
  2. Measure all ingredients: 1/2 cup white rum, 1/4 cup fresh lime juice, and 2 tablespoons simple syrup.
  3. Add the watermelon chunks to the blender and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in the white rum and fresh lime juice into the blender.
  5. Drizzle in the simple syrup and blend for an additional 10 seconds.
  6. Add 1-2 cups of ice cubes to the blender.
  7. Blend until the mixture is smooth and frosty, about 20–30 seconds.
  8. Pour the daiquiri into chilled serving glasses and garnish with a watermelon wedge or lime slice.

Notes

Freeze watermelon chunks ahead of time and use in place of ice for extra flavor. Store leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
