  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1 cup fruit juice like apple or cranberry
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh fruits optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a large pot over high heat.
  2. Add 2 cups sugar and stir until fully dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  3. Remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1 cup vodka until thoroughly combined.
  5. Add 1 cup fruit juice and 1 tablespoon lemon juice, then mix well.
  6. Strain the mixture into a pitcher or container to remove any solids.
  7. Refrigerate the mash for at least 1 hour to chill and develop flavors.
  8. Serve the mash over ice and garnish with fresh fruits if desired.

Serve chilled, garnished with fresh fruits for the best presentation.
