- Place your coupe or cocktail glass in the freezer for at least five minutes before mixing.
- Cut a fresh lime in half and use a citrus juicer to extract 0.75 ounces of juice into a measuring cup.
- Measure 2 ounces of vodka into a cocktail shaker or mixing glass using a jigger.
- Add 0.75 ounces of fresh lime juice to the shaker.
- Pour 0.5 ounces of rose syrup into the shaker.
- Add 0.25 ounces of dry vermouth to the mixture.
- Fill the shaker with large ice cubes or crushed ice, seal it tightly, and shake vigorously for about ten seconds until frosty.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled glass using a Hawthorne or julep strainer.
- Express the oils from a lime wheel over the drink or drop in a rose petal for garnish, then serve immediately.
Notes
Always use fresh lime juice squeezed moments before mixing, and store your rose syrup in a cool place to preserve its delicate flavor and color.
