Method
- Chill the shot glass in the freezer for 5 minutes.
- Using a jigger, measure 0.5 ounces of vodka.
- Carefully pour the vodka into the shot glass, filling it about halfway.
- Measure 0.5 ounces of pineapple juice with the jigger and set aside.
- Pour the pineapple juice slowly over the back of a bar spoon held just above the vodka layer to create a distinct layer.
- Measure 0.25 ounces of grenadine using the jigger or a small spoon.
- Slowly pour the grenadine over the back of the spoon so it sinks to the bottom, forming the base layer.
- Admire the layered colors and serve the shot immediately while still cold.
Notes
Use ice-cold ingredients and chilled glassware for the smoothest, most refreshing shot.
