Ingredients

Main
  • 1/2 cup half and half cream
  • 2 tablespoons lavender syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • Electric milk frother or handheld frother
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Whisk or small spoon
  • Spoon for scooping foam onto drinks

Method

  1. Gather all ingredients and equipment before starting to ensure a smooth process.
  2. Measure and pour 1/2 cup of cold half and half into your milk frother container.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of lavender syrup and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the cold cream.
  4. Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey or simple syrup for about 15 seconds to combine and stabilize the mixture.
  5. Add 1/4 cup of ice cubes to the cream mixture to increase volume and maintain cold temperature.
  6. Froth the mixture with an electric frother until complete or whisk vigorously by hand for 30 to 45 seconds until light and airy.
  7. Let the foam sit undisturbed for one minute to settle and achieve the perfect consistency.
  8. Using a spoon, scoop the lavender foam onto your cold drink of choice, leaving space at the top of the glass for a beautiful crown.

Notes

Foam holds its shape best within the first 10 minutes after frothing. Store the unfrothed mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days and stir gently before re-frothing.
