Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda Sprite or 7UP
  • 1 cup blue curaçao syrup or blue sports drink mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon simple syrup for added sweetness
  • Optional: splash of pineapple juice for tropical depth

Method
 

  1. Fill your glass with ice by adding approximately 1/2 cup of ice to a tall glass or plastic cup.
  2. Pour 1 cup of blue curaçao syrup over the ice.
  3. Slowly add 1 cup of cold lemon-lime soda to control foam and carbonation.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of coconut extract to the mixture.
  5. Stir well with a long spoon or straw to combine evenly.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding 1 tablespoon of simple syrup if desired and stir again.
  7. Optionally add a splash of pineapple juice for extra tropical depth and stir.
  8. Serve immediately in a tall glass with fresh ice to preserve carbonation and chill.

Notes

Store the unmixed syrup base in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and add fresh soda and ice before serving to preserve carbonation.
