Method
- Moisten the rim of a tall coffee mug with honey or corn syrup, then press into graham cracker crumbs to coat.
- Brew 2 shots of hot espresso using an espresso machine or pour 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee into the prepared mug.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup into the hot espresso until fully dissolved, about 15 seconds.
- Add 1 tablespoon of toasted marshmallow syrup and stir well for 10 seconds.
- Heat 8 ounces of milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming (about 3 minutes at 160°F) and not boiling.
- Froth the heated milk using a milk frother or whisk to create microfoam.
- Slowly pour the frothed milk into the espresso and syrup mixture, holding back the foam with a spoon, then spoon the remaining foam on top.
- Top with whipped cream and place a mini marshmallow on top as garnish, then serve immediately.
Notes
Serve immediately while the foam is still fluffy and adjust syrup amounts to taste.
