  • ½ cup Sattu flour
  • 2 cups Cold water
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Jaggery or sugar adjust to taste
  • a pinch Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin powder optional

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the sattu flour, cold water, fresh lemon juice, jaggery or sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Using a whisk or spoon, mix thoroughly until no lumps remain and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Taste the drink and adjust sweetness by adding more jaggery or sugar as desired.
  4. If making the savory version, sprinkle in cumin powder and stir to combine.
  5. Refrigerate the drink for about 10 minutes to chill for a refreshing experience.
  6. Pour the chilled sattu drink into glasses, garnishing with a lemon slice or a pinch of cumin powder if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy fresh for the best flavor and texture.
  8. Optionally, experiment by adding mint, ginger, or fruits like mango for different flavor variations.
