Ingredients

Main
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or frother
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Storage container

Method

  1. Gather and measure all ingredients before starting.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and caramel sauce.
  3. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir gently.
  4. Sprinkle in the sea salt and mix to incorporate.
  5. Use a hand mixer or frother to whip the mixture until soft peaks form, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Check that the foam holds its shape but remains pourable; add a splash of milk if it’s too thick.
  7. Serve immediately by spooning the foam over coffee or desserts for the best texture.
  8. Optionally, transfer any leftover foam to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.

Notes

Fresh foam is best; store leftovers in an airtight container and use within 2 days.
