Method
- Fill the cocktail glass three-quarters full with fresh ice and a splash of cold water, then let sit for 1 minute to chill the glass.
- Discard the ice and water, leaving the glass chilled.
- Add 4 to 6 fresh ice cubes to the chilled glass, filling it about two-thirds full.
- Measure and pour 1.5 ounces rose liqueur over the ice.
- Pour 3 ounces chilled prosecco or sparkling white wine into the glass, tilting to preserve carbonation.
- Top with 2 ounces sparkling water or soda water, filling close to the rim.
- Stir gently with a bar spoon in a circular motion for 10 to 15 seconds to combine ingredients without losing fizz.
- Garnish with 2 to 3 fresh rose petals or a lemon wheel and serve immediately.
Notes
Chill all ingredients in the freezer for 15 minutes before mixing to keep the drink cold longer and reduce dilution.
