Method
- Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of the martini glasses and dip into granulated sugar to rim the glasses.
- Add fresh raspberries to the cocktail shaker and muddle gently with a muddler or back of a spoon to release juices.
- Pour vodka, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup into the shaker over the muddled raspberries.
- Fill the shaker halfway with ice to chill and slightly dilute the mixture.
- Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 15 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glasses using a strainer to remove seeds and pulp.
- Garnish each glass with a few fresh raspberries.
- Serve the raspberry lemon drop martini immediately while cold and enjoy.
Notes
Always shake the cocktail with plenty of ice to ensure it is perfectly chilled.
