  • 1.5 ounces vodka
  • 0.75 ounces peanut butter liqueur or creamy peanut butter blended with 0.5 ounces of vodka
  • 0.5 ounces chocolate liqueur such as Creme de Cacao
  • 0.5 ounces heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 0.25 ounces vanilla syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Chocolate powder or cocoa for rimming optional
  • Chocolate drizzle for garnish optional

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger or measuring tool
  • Martini glass or coupe glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Small plate for rim (optional)

Method
 

  1. Chill your martini glass in the freezer for at least 2 minutes while preparing the ingredients.
  2. Using a jigger, measure and pour 1.5 ounces vodka, 0.75 ounces peanut butter liqueur, and 0.5 ounces chocolate liqueur into a cocktail shaker.
  3. Add 0.5 ounces heavy cream and 0.25 ounces vanilla syrup to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker three-quarters full with ice cubes.
  5. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until the outside is frosty.
  6. (Optional) To apply a chocolate rim, lightly wet the rim of the chilled glass and dip it into chocolate powder to coat evenly.
  7. Strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer into the chilled glass, leaving the ice behind.
  8. (Optional) Garnish with a chocolate drizzle inside the glass and serve immediately while cold.

Notes

Serve immediately while cold for best texture and flavor.
