Ingredients

Main
  • 1 cup frozen peach slices about 2 medium fresh peaches, pitted and frozen, or store-bought frozen
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks fresh or store-bought frozen
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1/2 frozen banana sliced (adds creaminess and natural sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or maple syrup optional, for extra sweetness
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 3 to 4 ice cubes if using fresh fruit instead of frozen

Equipment

  • High-powered blender or standard blender
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Two tall glasses
  • Spoon for stirring (optional)

Method

  1. Measure and gather 1 cup of frozen peach slices and 1 cup of frozen mango chunks.
  2. Slice half of a frozen banana into thin rounds for smoother blending.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk into the blender pitcher.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt and 1 tablespoon of raw honey or maple syrup into the blender.
  5. Layer the frozen peach slices, frozen mango chunks, and sliced frozen banana on top of the liquid in the blender.
  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt to the blender.
  7. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high, for about 30 to 45 seconds until smooth with no chunks remaining.
  8. If the smoothie is too thick, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of almond milk and blend for an additional 10 seconds; if too thin, add a handful of frozen fruit or ice cubes and blend briefly.
  9. Pour the smoothie into two tall glasses and serve immediately to enjoy the optimal texture and temperature.

Notes

Serve immediately to prevent separation; adjust sweetness and consistency to taste, and consider freezing glasses beforehand to keep the smoothie colder longer.
