Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1.5 ounces 45 milliliters vodka
  • 1 ounce 30 milliliters cranberry juice, preferably unsweetened or 100% juice
  • 0.75 ounce 22 milliliters peach juice or peach pucker
  • 0.5 ounce 15 milliliters fresh lime juice, squeezed just before mixing
  • 0.5 ounce 15 milliliters triple sec or Cointreau
  • 1 cup 240 milliliters ice for shaking
  • Fresh peach slice for garnish
  • Turbinado sugar optional, for rimming the glass

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker or mason jar with tight-fitting lid
  • Jigger or shot glass for measuring
  • Strainer or small mesh sieve
  • Coupe glass or martini glass, chilled
  • Bar spoon for stirring
  • Vegetable peeler or channel knife for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Chill your coupe or martini glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Add approximately 1 cup of ice to your cocktail shaker or mason jar.
  3. Step 3: Measure 1.5 ounces of vodka and pour it over the ice in the shaker.
  4. Step 4: Measure 1 ounce of cranberry juice and add it to the shaker.
  5. Step 5: Measure 0.75 ounce of peach juice or peach pucker and add it to the shaker.
  6. Step 6: Squeeze fresh lime juice into the shaker until you reach 0.5 ounce.
  7. Step 7: Measure 0.5 ounce of triple sec or Cointreau and add it to the shaker.
  8. Step 8: Secure the lid on your shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 12 seconds.
  9. Step 9: Strain the cocktail into your chilled coupe or martini glass using a strainer.
  10. Step 10: Garnish with a fresh peach slice and, if desired, a sugared rim dipped in turbinado sugar.

Notes

Serve immediately while cold; a sugared rim and fresh peach slice enhance presentation and aroma.
