  • 1 teaspoon pandan extract or 2 teaspoons fresh pandan juice
  • 1 cup whole milk 240 ml
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • Ice cubes optional, for iced version

Method
 

  1. Pour 2 tablespoons of hot water into your mug and add 1 teaspoon of pandan extract. Stir well for about 30 seconds until the extract fully dissolves and the water turns a pale green color.
  2. Pour 1 cup of whole milk into a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until hot but not boiling, about 150 to 160°F (66 to 71°C), approximately 3 minutes.
  3. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk to the hot milk and whisk until fully combined and smooth, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the hot milk mixture into the mug containing the pandan water and stir gently to combine, creating marbled green patterns.
  5. Taste the latte and adjust sweetness by adding more condensed milk or a drizzle of honey, stirring until dissolved.
  6. Optional: Froth remaining milk or whisk vigorously to create a light foam and spoon it on top of the latte.
  7. Serve immediately while hot. For an iced version, let the milk cool slightly, then pour the pandan water and milk mixture over a glass filled with ice cubes.
