  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • 1 oz dry vermouth
  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 twist orange peel for garnish

  • Coupe or rocks glass

Method
 

  1. Chill your glass in the freezer or by filling it with ice for a few minutes.
  2. Measure 2 oz rye whiskey, 1 oz dry vermouth, and 1 oz Campari using a jigger.
  3. Pour the measured ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice.
  4. Stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.
  5. Discard the ice from your serving glass and strain the cocktail into it.
  6. Twist an orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it in as a garnish.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your Old Pal Cocktail.

Notes

Use high-quality rye whiskey, dry vermouth, and Campari for the best flavor. Adjust ratios to taste.
