Method
- Place shot glasses in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to chill.
- Choose a cold beer you enjoy; crisp lagers and light beers work best.
- Open the beer with a bottle opener and let excess carbonation settle for 1–2 minutes.
- If using a salted rim, wet the rim of each glass with a lime wedge and dip in salt.
- Tilt each chilled shot glass and pour beer slowly down the side, filling three-quarters full.
- Arrange filled shot glasses on a chilled tray or serving platter.
- Add lime wedges to the tray for guests to use as a garnish or chaser.
- Serve the shots immediately while cold and carbonated.
Notes
Serve immediately for best flavor and carbonation. Discard any warm or flat shots.
