Ingredients
  

Main
  • 3 stalks celery chopped roughly
  • 1 large cucumber peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves packed loosely
  • 1 green apple cored and chopped
  • 2 limes peeled
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • Ice cubes optional, for serving

Equipment

  • High-speed blender or cold-press juicer
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional)
  • Glasses or serving cups
  • Spoon for stirring

Method
 

  1. Rinse all produce under cool running water and pat dry.
  2. Cut celery stalks into 2-inch pieces.
  3. Peel cucumber, then chop into large chunks.
  4. Loosely pack cilantro leaves into a measuring cup for one cup.
  5. Core and chop the green apple into quarters.
  6. Juice the limes or peel and add them whole to the blender.
  7. Add celery, cucumber, cilantro, apple, lime juice, water, and sea salt to the blender.
  8. Blend on high speed for 60 to 90 seconds until smooth.
  9. Optionally strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer, pressing pulp to extract juice.
  10. Pour into glasses, add ice cubes if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Store juice in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Stir or shake before serving.
