  • 1.5 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 ounce fresh lychee puree or 0.75 ounces lychee syrup
  • 0.75 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 ounces triple sec
  • 0.25 ounces agave nectar
  • Sea salt for rimming the glass
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Fresh lychee fruit for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it into sea salt to coat. Set the glass aside.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes and let it sit for 30 seconds.
  3. Pour 1.5 ounces silver tequila into the chilled shaker.
  4. Add 1 ounce fresh lychee puree (or 0.75 ounces lychee syrup) to the shaker.
  5. Add 0.75 ounces fresh lime juice to the shaker.
  6. Pour in 0.5 ounces triple sec.
  7. Add 0.25 ounces agave nectar.
  8. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until frosty.
  9. Strain the cocktail into the salt-rimmed glass filled with fresh ice.
  10. Garnish with a lime wedge and fresh lychee fruit if desired.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and tartness by varying agave and lime juice. Experiment with variations like spicy or frozen versions for different twists.
