- Step 1: Heat one cup of water in a small saucepan until it reaches a rolling boil.
- Step 2: Pour the boiling water into a large bowl, then add one package of gelatin powder while whisking constantly for about 30 seconds until fully dissolved.
- Step 3: Stir in one cup of cold water or juice to cool the mixture slightly.
- Step 4: Add one cup of your chosen spirit to the gelatin mixture and stir gently to combine.
- Step 5: Mix everything together for about one minute until the liquid is uniform and smooth.
- Step 6: Carefully pour the mixture into shot glasses or small cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
- Step 7: Refrigerate the shots for at least four hours or overnight until fully set.
- Step 8: Remove the shots from the refrigerator about five minutes before serving so they are not too firm and ready to enjoy.
Notes
Serve cold as a party appetizer. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to one week.
