  • 0.5 ounces St-Germain Liqueur
  • 3 ounces Prosecco
  • 1.5 ounces Soda Water
  • 6 to 8 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 3 to 4 Ice Cubes
  • 1 Lime Wheel or Slice for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail or wine glass (chilled)
  • Jigger or measuring spoon
  • Bar spoon or long teaspoon
  • Cocktail strainer (optional)
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Bottle opener or sparkling wine key

Method
 

  1. Fill your cocktail or wine glass with ice cubes and let it sit for 1 minute to chill.
  2. Gently slap 6 to 8 fresh mint leaves between your hands to release their aromatics.
  3. Discard the ice from the chilled glass and pour in 0.5 ounces of St-Germain liqueur.
  4. Add 3 to 4 fresh ice cubes to the glass.
  5. Slowly pour 3 ounces of prosecco to preserve carbonation.
  6. Top the drink with 1.5 ounces of soda water.
  7. Gently stir with a bar spoon for about 6 seconds to combine without losing fizz.
  8. Add the prepared mint leaves and garnish with a lime wheel or slice.

Notes

Serve immediately and enjoy within the first two minutes for optimal flavor and carbonation.
