- Pour 1.5 ounces of Grey Goose vodka into a jigger or shot glass.
- Cut a fresh lime in half and squeeze out 0.5 ounce of juice into a small container.
- Measure 1 ounce of cranberry juice and 0.5 ounce of Cointreau or triple sec in a jigger.
- Add one cup of ice to the cocktail shaker, filling it about three-quarters full.
- Pour the vodka, lime juice, cranberry juice, and Cointreau into the ice-filled shaker.
- Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Remove the chilled glass from the freezer and strain the cocktail through a strainer into the glass.
- Garnish with a lime wheel or twist on the rim and serve immediately.
Notes
Fresh lime juice is absolutely worth the effort; it transforms the drink from good to genuinely excellent.
