Method
 

  1. Combine 1 cup whole milk and 1 cup heavy cream in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat.
  2. Add 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Whisk continuously for 1-2 minutes until the sugar fully dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Let the mixture simmer gently on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  6. Allow the creamer to cool in the saucepan for about 10 minutes to thicken slightly.
  7. Pour the cooled creamer into an airtight storage container or jar.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before use and shake well; store for up to one week.
