  • 2 ounces Aperol 1 jigger per serving
  • 3 ounces Prosecco 1.5 ounces per serving
  • 1 ounce fresh orange juice 0.5 ounces per serving
  • 0.5 ounce fresh lemon juice 0.25 ounces per serving
  • 1 cup crushed ice 0.5 cup per serving
  • 0.5 ounce simple syrup 0.25 ounces per serving
  • 1 orange slice per serving for garnish
  • 1 ounce soda water optional, for extra fizz

  • High-powered blender
  • Measuring jigger or shot glass
  • Cocktail or coupe glasses
  • Bar spoon
  • Citrus juicer or reamer
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional)

Method
 

  1. Place cocktail glasses in the freezer for at least 5 minutes to chill.
  2. Roll an orange and a lemon on the counter, then squeeze fresh juice into a small bowl.
  3. Pour 2 ounces of Aperol and 3 ounces of Prosecco into the blender pitcher.
  4. Add 1 ounce of fresh orange juice, 0.5 ounce of fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 ounce of simple syrup.
  5. Add 1 cup of crushed ice to the blender, matching the liquid volume.
  6. Pulse the blender a few times, then blend on high speed for 20 to 30 seconds until smooth and slushy.
  7. Divide the frozen mixture evenly between the chilled glasses.
  8. Garnish each glass with an orange slice and serve immediately.

Serve immediately for maximum chill and perfect slushy texture.
