Main
  • 1 bottle of dry white wine 750 ml
  • 1/4 cup of brandy
  • 1/4 cup of orange liqueur like Triple Sec
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 1 cup of diced fruit like peaches or berries
  • 2 cups of soda water or lemon-lime soda

Equipment

  • Pitcher or large bowl
  • Chopping board
  • Knife
  • Measuring cup
  • Spoon for stirring

Method

  1. Slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, brandy, and orange liqueur.
  3. Add the sugar to the pitcher and stir until it’s dissolved.
  4. Gently toss the sliced fruits into the pitcher.
  5. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Before serving, pour in the soda water or lemon-lime soda.
  7. Fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria over.
  8. Garnish each glass with a fresh slice of fruit if desired.

Notes

For the best flavor, let the sangria sit overnight in the fridge. This allows the fruit to infuse the wine thoroughly.
