  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried mint or fresh, to taste
  • Ice cubes optional

Method
 

  1. Start by assembling all ingredients on the countertop for a smooth process.
  2. In a blender or mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt and cold water.
  3. Stir in the salt and dried mint until evenly distributed.
  4. Blend the mixture on high for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste the doogh and adjust the salt or mint according to preference.
  6. If desired, add ice cubes or chill the doogh in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  7. Pour the doogh into serving glasses, leaving a little space at the top.
  8. Garnish each glass with fresh mint or a slice of cucumber and serve immediately.
