  • 1.5 ounces banana liqueur
  • 1 ounce chocolate rum such as Bacardi or Captain Morgan Spiced
  • 0.5 ounce coffee liqueur such as Kahlua
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • 0.5 ounce simple syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Splash of milk optional, for added creaminess
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for garnish optional

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Rocks glass or coupe glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients and chill your glass in the freezer for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  3. Measure and pour 1.5 ounces of banana liqueur into the shaker.
  4. Add 1 ounce of chocolate rum to the shaker.
  5. Pour 0.5 ounce of coffee liqueur into the shaker.
  6. Add 1 ounce of heavy cream and 0.5 ounce of simple syrup.
  7. Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until the shaker is frosty.
  8. Strain the cocktail into the chilled glass over fresh ice if desired.
  9. Garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder or chocolate shavings and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately after shaking for best texture and temperature.
