- Measure 8 ounces apple juice and 4 ounces water into a saucepan.
- Sprinkle in 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg, and a pinch of ground clove, then whisk to combine.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until steaming hot, but not boiling.
- Add 2 tablespoons caramel syrup to the simmering mixture and whisk constantly for 30 seconds until fully incorporated.
- Prepare your serving mug and have whipped cream and caramel drizzle ready to prevent cooling.
- Pour the hot spiced apple mixture into the mug, filling it about three-quarters full.
- Top the drink with 2 tablespoons whipped cream and allow it to melt slightly.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon caramel drizzle over the whipped cream and finish with a pinch of ground cinnamon on top.
