Method
- Place your glasses in the freezer for a few minutes to chill.
- Pour 1.5 cups of chilled cold brew coffee into the blender.
- Add 2 tablespoons of sweetener into the blender with the coffee.
- Pour in 1/4 cup of milk, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt.
- Slowly add 2 cups of ice cubes into the blender.
- Pulse on high speed in short bursts until the mixture resembles wet snow, about 20–30 seconds.
- Check the consistency and add a few extra ice cubes if you prefer a thicker texture.
- Divide the slushie evenly between the chilled glasses.
- Top with whipped cream if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Freeze coffee in ice cube trays ahead of time and use those cubes for a more intense flavor that won’t dilute as it melts.
