Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds whole seeds, not ground
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup fresh mango chunks frozen works too
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric for earthiness

Equipment

  • Blender or food processor
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Glass or ceramic bowl for mixing
  • Spoon for stirring
  • Drinking glass or serving bowl
  • Refrigerator

Method
 

  1. Measure and pour 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk into the blender.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt to the blender.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of raw honey or maple syrup.
  4. Pour in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and add a pinch of sea salt.
  5. Add 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen mango chunks to the blender.
  6. Blend on medium speed for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth.
  7. Pour the blended mixture into a glass or bowl and add 1/4 cup of chia seeds.
  8. Gently stir and fold the chia seeds by hand to distribute evenly.
  9. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to allow the chia seeds to thicken or serve immediately for a thinner consistency.

Notes

Chill for 10 minutes to achieve a pudding-like texture or serve immediately for a lighter consistency.
