Ingredients

Main
  • 2 cups milk any kind
  • 2 tablespoons dried chamomile flowers
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Equipment

  • Teapot or saucepan
  • Whisk or frother
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mug

Method

  1. Begin by pouring the milk into a saucepan and heating it over medium heat. Avoid boiling; you just want it warm enough to froth.
  2. Add the dried chamomile flowers to the warm milk. Let it steep for about 5 minutes to extract the flavor.
  3. Once steeped, strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve to remove the chamomile flowers.
  4. Stir in honey or your chosen sweetener to balance the floral notes.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract for an added layer of flavor.
  6. Use a whisk or frother to froth the milk until it’s light and airy.
  7. Pour the frothed chamomile milk into a mug, leaving some froth for the top.
  8. If desired, sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg on top for extra flavor.

Notes

Great for any time of day, especially evenings. Can be customized with sweeteners or spices.
