Ingredients
  

Main
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup whole milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/2 cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes if using fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Gather fresh or frozen blueberries, whole milk, Greek yogurt, honey or agave nectar, ice cubes (if using fresh blueberries), and vanilla extract near the blender.
  2. Pour 1 cup of whole milk into the blender.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of plain unsweetened Greek yogurt to the blender.
  4. Add 2 cups of fresh or frozen blueberries to the blender.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of honey or agave nectar and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  6. Add 1/2 cup of ice cubes to the blender if using fresh blueberries.
  7. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth with no visible chunks.
  8. Check the consistency and adjust by adding more milk if too thick or more frozen blueberries or yogurt if too thin, then blend again briefly.
  9. Divide the smoothie between two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately while cold and creamy. If stored, keep in a sealed container up to 4 hours and shake or blend again before drinking.
