- Slice ripe bananas into chunks and add to blender.
- Pour 1 cup whole milk and 1/2 cup heavy cream into blender with bananas.
- Blend on high speed for 60 seconds until smooth.
- Strain banana mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a small saucepan.
- Heat banana milk over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until steaming but not boiling.
- Stir in vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and a pinch of sea salt until combined.
- Pull 2 shots of espresso (about 2 ounces) while the banana milk heats.
- Divide espresso between two mugs and pour hot banana mixture over espresso while stirring.
- Taste and add honey or maple syrup as desired for extra sweetness.

Serve immediately and adjust sweetness to taste. Store the banana mixture in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
