Method
 

  1. Gather all the ingredients on your countertop.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Pour in 2 ounces of Aviation gin using a jigger.
  4. Add 3/4 ounce of fresh lemon juice.
  5. Pour in 1/2 ounce of maraschino liqueur.
  6. Add 1/4 ounce of crème de violette.
  7. Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  8. Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  9. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh lemon juice and serve immediately.
