Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon filtered water
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper or ground ginger optional

  • Citrus juicer or hand reamer (optional)
  • Small glass bottle or mason jar for storage

Method
 

  1. Pour 2 tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar into a small glass or shot glass.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of raw honey to the vinegar.
  3. Squeeze fresh lemon to measure 1/2 tablespoon of juice and pour into the glass.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of filtered water to dilute the mixture.
  5. If desired, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or ground ginger for extra warmth.
  6. Stir the mixture with a long spoon for 10 to 15 seconds until the honey is fully dissolved.
  7. Taste the shot and adjust sweetness or acidity by adding extra honey, water, or vinegar as needed.
  8. Drink immediately or transfer to a small glass bottle and refrigerate for up to two weeks, shaking well before serving.

Store refrigerated for up to two weeks and shake well before each serving. Adjust honey and water to suit your taste preferences.
