Method
- Chill martini glass in freezer for at least 5 minutes.
- Fill cocktail shaker about three-quarters full with fresh ice.
- Measure and add 1.5 ounces vodka to the shaker.
- Add 0.75 ounces chocolate liqueur to the shaker.
- Pour in 0.5 ounces coconut rum.
- Add 0.75 ounces heavy cream or half-and-half to the shaker.
- Add 2-3 drops almond extract and 1 drop vanilla extract.
- Secure lid and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until shaker is frosty.
- Strain cocktail into chilled martini glass, leaving ice behind.
- Garnish with toasted almonds, shredded coconut, or a chocolate drizzle and serve immediately.
Notes
You can pre-batch the liquid ingredients in a sealed jar for up to three days; shake with fresh ice before serving for best texture.
