Ingredients
  

Main
  • 4 cups fresh fruit like watermelon, mango, or strawberries
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice optional
  • Mint leaves for garnish optional

  • Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
  • Pitcher

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Wash the fresh fruit thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides.
  2. Step 2: Cut the fruit into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  3. Step 3: Add the chopped fruit and 2 cups of water to a blender and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  4. Step 4: Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher to remove pulp.
  5. Step 5: Pour in the remaining 2 cups of water and stir well to dilute the mixture.
  6. Step 6: Add sugar to taste, stirring until fully dissolved.
  7. Step 7: Mix in lime juice if desired.
  8. Step 8: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, then serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

Always adjust the sweetness according to the fruit's ripeness to achieve the best flavor.
