Method
- Pull out all five bottles of spirits and measure each one using your jigger to ensure accurate portions.
- Cut your lime in half and juice it fresh using a citrus juicer, aiming for exactly 1 ounce of juice.
- Fill your cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes, making sure they're solid and fresh.
- Pour the vodka, white rum, gin, blue curacao, and tequila into the shaker over the ice.
- Pour in your fresh lime juice and simple syrup into the shaker with the spirits.
- Close your shaker tightly and shake hard for about 15 seconds, making sure you hear the ice rattling around vigorously.
- Place your highball glass filled with fresh ice in front of you and strain the shaken cocktail over it using your cocktail strainer.
- Pour the lemon-lime soda into your glass slowly and stir gently with your bar spoon to combine everything.
- Cut a lime wheel and place it on the rim of your glass as both a visual marker and a citrus aroma booster. Serve immediately while everything is cold and the carbonation is still active.
Notes
Always use fresh lime juice squeezed right before mixing, never bottled, because this single change elevates your Adios MF from good to genuinely impressive. Chill your glassware in the freezer for 5 minutes before serving so the drink stays cold longer. Make this drink to order rather than batching multiple servings, since the carbonation fades quickly once the soda hits the ice.
