Ingredients

Main
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves
  • Club soda to top
  • Ice
  • Lime wedges for garnish
  • Mint sprigs for garnish

Equipment

  • Measuring jigger
  • Muddler
  • Shaker
  • Strainer
  • Glasses

Method

  1. Start by selecting your favorite glasses. Highball glasses work well for this refreshing drink.
  2. Add the fresh mint leaves to each glass. Use a muddler to gently press the mint, releasing its oils without tearing it apart.
  3. Pour in the fresh lime juice and simple syrup to enhance the mint, creating a bright flavor.
  4. Measure and add the vodka to the mixture to bring the cocktail together.
  5. Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top.
  6. Pour club soda over the ice to fill the glass.
  7. Use a spoon to stir the mixture gently to ensure all the flavors blend.
  8. Add a lime wedge and a sprig of mint for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Serve with light snacks or during a summer barbecue. Adjust sweetness to your taste.
