Ingredients

Main
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves or 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar optional, to taste

Equipment

  • Whisk or milk frother
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mug or cup

Method

  1. Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a gentle boil.
  2. Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the Earl Grey tea leaves or bags. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. While the tea is steeping, heat your milk in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Once the milk is warm, whisk it vigorously or use a milk frother until it is frothy.
  5. After steeping, remove the tea leaves or bags and add the vanilla syrup. Stir well.
  6. Pour the frothed milk into the tea mixture, holding back the foam with a spoon.
  7. Taste your London Fog and add sugar if preferred.
  8. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy.
